Job Title: X-Lab ACEOPS Administrator

Job Location: Colorado Springs, CO

The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports a layered missile defense capability that enables an optimized response to threats of all ranges in all phases of flight. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. C2BMC is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities.

Responsibilities:

The X-Lab ACEOPS Administrator will operate, maintain and manage Linux-based systems supporting a software development environment. Responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of the Windows/Linux environment and is responsible for backup and recovery (to include disaster recovery) of system data.

Must Haves:

• Must currently hold an ACTIVE DoD Final Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position
• Bachelors Degree in technical field (Mathematics, Science, Engineering, Computer Science or similar STEM degree) with 5 years of experience.
  
• Must have technical skills supporting a varied and diverse environment including enterprise server setup, deployment, and maintenance.
• Must have a solid understanding of configuration managed Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
• Must possess a solid understanding of what ITs role is in Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) and how it can be applied to PaaS.
• Experience and Understanding of the following:
  • Linux environment and experience with Linux administration and Linux shell scripting.
  • System Security Implementations.
  • Ansible playbook development and management or other competing automation solutions.
  • Security-Enhanced (SE) Linux and Red Hat repository administration.
  • Experience applying containers (Docker) and use of container orchestration (Kubernetes)
  • Experience with system hardening using industry best practices
