Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and well-connected VP of Sales & Marketing with deep expertise in the commercial construction industry. This leader will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives, expanding our client base, and fostering long-term relationships with general contractors, mechanical contractors, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry network in Colorado , a track record of driving revenue growth, and the ability to lead a high-performing sales team.
Position Overview: This leader will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives, expanding our client base, and fostering long-term relationships with general contractors, mechanical contractors, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong industry network in Colorado , a track record of driving revenue growth, and the ability to lead a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and secure new project opportunities, leveraging an extensive network within Colorado’s construction industry.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with general contractors, mechanical contractors, and industry stakeholders.
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Marketing Leadership: Oversee branding, marketing campaigns, and proposal development to enhance our market presence.
Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market segments, geographic areas, and strategic partnerships.
Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and develop a results-driven sales and marketing team.
Bid & Proposal Management: Oversee bid strategies, pricing models, and client negotiations to maximize project wins.
Competitive Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications & Experience: 10+ years of sales and business development experience in commercial construction, with a preference for mechanical insulation, HVAC, or related trades.
Established network within Colorado’s Front Range construction industry (e.g., general contractors, mechanical contractors, developers).
Strong track record of winning contracts and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
Experience leading sales teams and developing high-performing professionals .
Expertise in bidding, estimating, and contract negotiation .
Knowledge of construction project cycles, subcontracting processes, and industry regulations .
Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
