Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking to hire a full-time, experienced registered Medical Assistant for a family medicine practice in the north area of Colorado Springs.
Qualifications:
* A registered or certified medical assistant
*Previous experience with Athena EMR is a plus!
*Experienced with all facets of patient care.
* Attention to detail and accuracy is a must!
*Must be a team player.
Responsibilities:
*Room all patients, with accurate weight and height, as well as blood pressure readings.
*Able to reconcile patients' medications with accuracy.
* Give patients' lab results and other provider messages with professional and courteous communication.
* Complete medication prior authorizations.
*Give injections and vaccines, with accurate documentation in the chart.
