The Position
Haas Vision Center, a dedicated Ophthalmology Surgical practice, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Office Manager to oversee and enhance our administrative, clinical, and operational functions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the center operates efficiently and effectively, ensuring optimal patient care and service. This role involves a multifaceted approach, from managing provider schedules and surgical case scheduling to oversight of referrals, outreach initiatives, and serving as a liaison with our affiliate platform, Panorama Eye Care.
The Role
This pivotal role encompasses a wide array of responsibilities, from meticulous management of provider and surgical schedules to the adept oversight of referral programs and outreach initiatives. The successful candidate will exhibit a robust skill set in clinical operations management, ensuring efficient and compliant practice workflows, while also managing recruitment, staff onboarding, and orchestrating impactful training initiatives. Acting as a crucial liaison between Haas Vision Center and Panorama Eyecare, the Office Manager will facilitate seamless communication and coordination between the entities, embodying a commitment to administrative excellence and patient-centered care in the vibrant realm of ophthalmology surgical practice.
Responsibilities
Surgical Case and Provider Schedule Management:
Coordinate surgical scheduling in alignment with both patient and provider availability.
Manage and optimize providers' clinical and surgical schedules.
Clinical Operations Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinical practice ensuring a smooth workflow.
Ensure adherence to relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.
Administrative Oversight:
Manage administrative tasks including patient communications, and documentation.
Develop, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure consistent service.
Time and Labor Management:
Manage staff schedules, attendance, and leave applications.
Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate labor cost management.
Recruiting and Onboarding:
Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process for new staff.
Ensure all staff members are oriented and understand their roles.
Training Initiatives:
Arrange and manage training programs for staff to enhance skills and compliance.
Ensure staff are updated with the latest in ophthalmology care and administrative processes.
Liaison Duties:
Act as a key contact between Haas Vision Center and Panorama Eye Care.
Coordinate and communicate relevant information between the two entities and all platform departments.
Miscellaneous:
Address and resolve any issues or complaints regarding the services provided.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the healthcare practitioners.
Requirements
Who You Are
High school diploma or GED. Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in ophthalmology with use of electronic health records preferred.
Previous leadership experience required.

This is a Full-Time Position.
Compensation for this role will be $60,000 - $70,000 annually based on experience/certification.
