Job Description
The lead superintendent is in charge of supervising the construction process and is responsible for budget, scheduling guidelines, and overall construction activities. Includes planning and scheduling, organizing, directing and controlling activities on the construction site.

This is a national developer builder with multiple multifamily projects in Colorado. They pride themselves on being the creative leader in many market segments.
*Description*
*Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:*
* Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
* Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverable and estimate costs.
* Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
* Select tools, materials and equipment, and track inventory.
* Meet contractual conditions of performance.
* Review the work progress on daily basis.
* Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
* Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
* Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
*Profile*
*The successful Lead Multifamily Construction Superintendent will have:*
* 3+ Ground up multifamily projects completed as a lead superintendent
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with a significant focus in one of their sectors, podium build, garden style, wood frame, affordable housing, and high rise.
* Proven track record of successfully leading and completing complex projects on time and within budget.
* Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices, with a keen eye for quality and attention to detail.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse workforce.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
* Solid understanding of safety regulations and procedures, with a commitment to creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
* Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, LEED) are highly desirable.
