Landscape/Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a dedicated Landscape/Maintenance Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our commercial properties to ensure they are welcoming and aesthetically pleasing for clients and visitors. This is NOT an apartment maintenance position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform regular landscaping tasks, including mowing, trimming, and planting.

· Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as salters, sanders, snowplows, and chainsaws.

· Execute snow removal during winter months (approximately 10 days a year).

· Conduct basic repairs, including drywall repair, painting, plumbing, and electrical work.

· Maintain flooring, including carpet, VCT, baseboards, and thresholds.

· Repair doors, including hinges, hardware, frames, and finishes.

· Manage inventory and warehouse organization.

· Document work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.

· Follow safety protocols and read instruction manuals to operate tools and equipment safely.

Qualifications:

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of automobile insurance.

· Be a team player.

· General knowledge of hand tools (e.g., tape measure, screwdriver, hammer, drill motor).

· Basic computer/smartphone skills for communication and documentation.

· Ability to read and follow instruction manuals.

· Physically capable of lifting up to 80 pounds and standing for up to 4 hours between breaks.

· Mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn multiple trades.

Desired Skills:

· Landscaping experience with knowledge of irrigation systems.

· Experience in drywall repair and painting.

· Basic plumbing skills, including the ability to repair or replace toilets.

· Basic electrical skills, such as replacing outlets and switches.

· Knowledge of flooring installation and maintenance.
