Overview
Role Summary: NV5 is actively recruiting a GIS Database Administrator/Systems Admin who possesses sound expertise in geospatial technologies and database administration. The position is located at Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, GA. The admin must be self-motivated with exceptional planning, critical thinking, analytical and communication skills. The admin must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated.
This job is a full-time, onsite position. Due to federal contract requirements, the candidate must be a US Citizen and capable of attaining required security clearance.

Responsibilities
- Be well versed in Microsoft Server, versions 2016 to current, with specific experience in the military/Air Force environment.
- Perform server maintenance security patches and reading scans. Responsible for performing regular server updates.
- Must be familiar with the DoD Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
- Work on web applications for Robins GIS web viewer.
- Manage Oracle and SQL interface (for user accounts).
- Manage ESRI/ArcGIS products and licensing (ArcGIS Pro and License Manager).
- Work with ESRI/ArcGIS Portal application and creation of web apps in Portal.
- Will need to edit or modify GIS data in ArcGIS software and perform QA/QC check of data.
- Support all Geobase data requirements per Air Force SDSFIE standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in GIS, IT, computer science, or related field.
- Excellent communication, team-work and collaboration skills
- 1 year of experience actively managing systems
- QA/QC experience
- U.S. Citizenship required to comply with government contracts
- Security+ certified (possess Sec+ certification or ability to pass upon hire)
- Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certification in Geographic Information Systems
- 2 years or more actively managing systems
- Familiarity with relational database management systems and enterprise environments

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $83,000.00- $90,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
