Job Description

Locums - Colorado Springs, Colorado, GI Hospitalist Opening (IMLC Accepted)Clinical Role:

Coverage Dates Needed:
Feb 14 (7a) - 21 (7a)
Mar 14 (7a) - 21 (7a)
Shifts are 24-hour call - Friday (7a) - Friday (7a) every other week
Setting: Inpatient Trauma Level II
Patient Census: 15-25. Some days will be under 10, some days over 30
FTE: 1.0
Required Procedures/Job Duties: ERCP & General GI butter cases
EMR: EPIC
There is anesthesia support, no need for conscious sedation
Hospitalist admits patients
Avg.# daily procedures on in patients: 5-8
1-2 ERCPs per day (of the 5-8 procedures above)
Candidate must be able to perform ERCP - Required
Reason for Coverage: No GI Service
EMR Required Training:
Module (learn lessons) - Must be completed prior to virtual EMR training to attend the training.
EMR Virtual training - Only able to attend if Modules are completed before training. Virtual training must be completed prior to the providers' first day

Board Certified Gastroenterology - Required or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years of fellowship completion with BC in IM)
Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand)
Active CO DEA - Required
Clean Malpractice/background - Highly Preferred
