Location: Homewood Suites & Tru by Hilton Colorado Springs Airport
Position Overview:
The Dual General Manager will oversee the operations, staff management, and guest satisfaction of both the Homewood Suites and Tru by Hilton brands in a single dual-branded property. This role requires a dynamic and highly experienced leader capable of managing two brands under one roof while maintaining brand standards and achieving high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Strong Hilton brand experience and PEP (Property Engagement Platform) experience are strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management
- Provide effective leadership to ensure the highest standards of guest service and operational efficiency are achieved across both brands.
- Recruit, train, and mentor department heads and team members, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Establish clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to help the team meet and exceed expectations.
- Promote and uphold Hilton brand values, encouraging the team to deliver a welcoming, positive experience for every guest.
- Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of both hotels, ensuring all areas are functioning smoothly and meeting brand standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections and reviews to ensure a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and guest experience in all public spaces and guest rooms.
- Utilize PEP for task management, preventive maintenance, and inventory control, and ensure the team is trained and proficient in PEP usage.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize processes, improve efficiency, and address operational challenges.
- Financial Management
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and control costs for both properties.
- Review financial reports and key metrics, adjusting operational plans as needed to meet financial goals.
- Manage inventory levels and purchasing for supplies and amenities, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising guest experience.
- Guest Satisfaction & Quality Assurance
- Champion a guest-first culture by implementing and upholding Hilton’s standards for guest satisfaction, particularly in areas such as cleanliness, service quality, and responsiveness to guest requests.
- Regularly review guest feedback, implement corrective actions as necessary, and encourage a proactive approach to resolving guest issues.
- Maintain high standards of service and consistency across both brands to enhance guest loyalty and positive reviews.
- Sales & Marketing Collaboration
- Work closely with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies for both brands, optimizing occupancy rates and attracting new guests.
- Oversee the development and execution of promotional activities, local partnerships, and community engagement initiatives that align with Hilton’s brand standards.
- Engage with local business and tourism organizations to drive awareness and attract guests to both properties.
- Compliance & Safety
- Ensure that both properties comply with all applicable health, safety, and legal regulations, as well as Hilton’s brand standards.
- Oversee safety programs, conduct regular inspections, and address any identified risks or hazards to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hotel management experience, preferably within the Hilton brand or with dual-branded properties.
- Hilton Knowledge: Previous experience with Hilton brand standards and a strong understanding of Hilton's values and expectations.
- PEP Experience: Familiarity with the Property Engagement Platform (PEP) is strongly preferred, including task management, preventive maintenance, and inventory control.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage diverse teams and complex operations.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to the unique needs of a dual-branded property and work effectively in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment.
