Job Description

The DoubleTree by Hilton Colorado Springs is looking for an experienced Convention Services Manager who would be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events, conferences, and conventions hosted at the hotel. This role involves client liaison, event logistics, and ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for guests. The role demands excellent communication and multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: • Coordinate all aspects of events from start to finish, ensuring everything runs smoothly • Work closely with clients to determine their event needs, and arrange details including guest accommodations, catering, AV, vendors, and transportation • Manage billing, commission, and rebates • Work closely with the Sales and Catering team, Banquets team, Front Desk, and other operations departments to ensure client satisfaction is met Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in event planning or hospitality management • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong organization and time-management skills • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite • Delphi experience and diagramming are a plus! Compensation: $59,000 - $62,000 yearly
