Position Overview:

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Project Manager who takes pride in their work and values relationships. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication skills, capable of achieving both short- and long-term goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Manage budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and monthly projections.
  • Oversee contract management, ensuring compliance with owner requirements and managing subcontractor agreements.
  • Develop and maintain CPM schedules, facilitating pull scheduling and holding subcontractors accountable.
  • Oversee Requests for Information (RFIs), procurement, and submittals, as well as typical Project Engineer operations.
  • Lead weekly meetings with Owners, Architects, and Contractors.
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure project success, including timely procurement of materials and resources.
  • Supervise Project Engineers and their tasks.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with Owners and Architects.
  • Participate in interviews and presentations to secure new projects.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years in the construction industry.
  • Experience with no more than 2 companies in 5 years, or 3 companies in 10 years.
  • Proven experience managing projects valued at $3M or more.
  • Strong references from previous Owners and employers.
  • Must be a U.S. resident.
  • Prior experience as a Project Engineer, including processing RFIs and submittals.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in healthcare and/or educational projects is preferred.
