ABOUT THE JOB
The Tepa Companies are seeking a Construction Intern, you will have exposure to a variety of construction management areas and have the opportunity to work in these areas based on your skills and interests. You will be working in an incredibly fast-moving business and will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions.
The Tepa Companies summer 2025 Intern Program is a paid opportunity for the duration of 10-12 weeks. Depending on your workload and school schedule, the work schedule will be approximately 40 hours per week in the office location.
Job Functions:
* Assisting with field execution support of construction projects.
* Assisting with estimating, scheduling, developing bid packages, issuing RFI's, and coordination of submittals.
* Observing and supervising construction activities.
* Assisting with project close-out activities.
* Learn about the Support of our Field Staff.
* Interacting with design professionals and construction management teams.
* Assisting with tracking and forecasting project budgets.
* Assisting with safety enforcement.
* Organizing and attending project meetings.
* Performing other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or another related field from an accredited program. Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
* Demonstrated leadership skills
* Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
* Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure
