Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSigmatech is seeking highly motivated acquisitions professionals to assist in the development, planning, and managment of space system products and services. In this role, contractors will provide USSF acquisition leads cradle-to-grave support, conducting market research, assisting in developing acquisition strategies, preparing solicitation documentation (pre and post award), and reviewing proposals for compliance. The contractor shall track and manage requirements, technical baselines, programmatic risks, and ensure seamless integration across program objectives in terms of cost, schedule, and performance.
To be considered for this position, candidates must have:
- Experience working in/for a System Program Office (SPO) or Program Management Office (PMO) on delivery of hardware and/or software products for DOD operators
- Space preferred but other SPO/PMO experience may be considered
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Knowledge of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF)Knowledge of DOD contract typesExperience leading or participating in DOD Source Selection activities to include preparation, source selection team leadership or participation, and source selection results briefings to a Source Selection Authority (or equivalent)Experience with various solicitation activities to include Sources Sought, Broad Area Announcements, Industry Days, Requests for Proposal, etc.Experience developing source selection evaluation criteria and evaluating proposals against evaluation criteriaExperience managing contracts to include performance and product quality assessment, Earned Value Management (EVM), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) Management, and Risk, Issue, and Opportunity (RIO) ManagementIn compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $145,000 to $185,000; however, Sigmatech considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, experience, education/training, key skills, location and often contractual requirements.
