The senior engineer is responsible for designing and supporting the manufacturing of corrosion protection products, pressure vessels, and related tooling. This role requires expertise in mechanical design, CAD software, and manufacturing processes.
IDEAL SKILLS
- ASME calculation software, such as Compress
- BPVC Section 8 (VIII)
- Solidworks
Key Responsibilities:
- Design corrosion protection products and pressure vessels using SolidWorks
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes and tooling
- Provide technical support to Sales for project quotations
- Estimate labor, material costs, and project timelines
- Support Production Lining and fabrication, resolving engineering and tool-related issues
- Collaborate with Operations, Quality Control, Purchasing, Sales, and customers
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all project-related documentation
- Apply knowledge of ASME BPVC Section VIII and calculation software
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3-10 years of experience in corrosion protection, pressure vessel design, or related industry
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software
- Strong knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) Section VIII
- Familiarity with materials such as stainless steel, plastic, and/or polymer materials.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
