Mazak Machinist Integrex

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience operating CNC Mazak Integrex machines
• Experience must be on a Mazak Integrex
• Ability to read and interpret Blueprints/Technical Drawing Ability to perform various machining operation in accordance with part specifications
• Well versed in Mazatrol and programming at the machine. Programming in Mastercam and transferring to the machine is also an option.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret blueprint, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces
• Plan machine set ups, position work piece and operate various CNC machines through production runs to form specified quantities of piece parts to specified tolerances
• Deburr parts as needed
• Monitor machine functions to ensure that parts are manufactured to defined specifications
• Perform first piece inspections and make necessary adjustment to machine to ensure parts are formed to designated tolerances
• Complete inspection reports as required and repair any defects found and document critical quality information as necessary
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure machines are operating optimally
• Communicate with managers, production control, quality and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve quality or production issues
• Help on other equipment as needed or when time allows. Preferably other Mazak equipment
• Document outstanding issues either written or verbally to ensure smooth transition between shift
• Actively participate in continuous improvement of our products and processes to better serve our customers and improve the overall profitability of the company
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area complying with all 5S initiatives and advise Production Supervisor of any maintenance problems that may need to be resolved
• Follow and comply with all safety and personal protective equipment requirements
• Perform other related duties as assigned
