Produce and manufacture food items to be packaged and shipped to be sold to the general public.
Product knowledge to identify correctly what product goes in each item produced. Adhere to the strict USDA and FDA guidelines. Food safety knowledge. Food allergen knowledge and awareness. Prep food for future production. Keep facility clean and organized at all times.
Required Skills, Training, and Experience to Perform the Essential Functions:
- Lift up 50+ lbs at times
- Twisting, lifting, pulling, pushing
- Long periods of standing on feet
- Ability to stand for long periods of times
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- Good communication and written skills
- Ability to use a pallet jack could be useful
- Have a strong sense of urgency
- Must be reliable with reliable means of transportation.
- Ability to work longer shifts as needed.
This position will be but not limited to; chopping, cooking, frying and preparing meals and pre-packaged retail food products.
An ideal candidate for this company would possess the following skills and experience:
- 6+ months experience in Culinary, Food Service, Cooking and Food Processing or Food Manufacturing.
- Experience with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP s) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP s).
- Food and knife safety training
- Ability to calculate food weights and portions
- Knowledge of food safety temperatures
- Ability to lift 50 pounds un-assisted
- Stand for up to 8 hours a day
- Adhere to food hygiene appearance standards
- Dependable transportation
Note: This can be a physically demanding position, at times, with heavy lifting and long periods of standing in the production line.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
