Leidos is actively hiring for a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.
Looking for a change' Leidos has opportunities in the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Missile Defense mission areas. This opportunity is to assess the security controls and STIGs applicable to the subsystem. The alignment of these controls and STIGs will be captured within a CAMEO model.
Primary Responsibilities
Review and design cyber security controls and provide demonstration support to illustrate how new data source capabilities could impact and improve the overall NTS-PD environment
Lead efforts to ensure demonstrated capabilities have proper cyber security measures in place for software development for transition and deployment to live environment
Provide red line changes to existing Government documentation to keep deployed systems in compliance with Department of Defense guidelines
Identify and document any cyber security vulnerabilities and develop Plan of Actions and Milestones
Identify and analyze cybersecurity risks associated with system or software changes
Perform Security Impact Assessment (SIA) to document impacts to the security posture based on changes to the system or software
Identify and draft a Cybersecurity Assessment Plan (CAP) in contractor format no later than the Critical Design Review (CDR)
Lead efforts to build, conduct and garner approval for proposed software development efforts
Utilize CAMEO System Modeler to align Security Controls and STIGs to system components
Generate JIRA backlog items for IA security requirements for implementation by system administrators
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's with 4 years of experience or Masters with 2 years of experience; additional years of directly applicable experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Currently possess a Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor Degree in an Engineering discipline
Master's degree in associated field
Excellent project, technical, interpersonal, presentation and problem management skills
Ability to communicate orally, and in writing, detailed technical information on troubleshooting and implementation efforts

Pay Range:
Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
