Job Description
The Construction Assistant Project Manager works with the senior project manager and project managers on Commercial projects leading different aspects of the construction build process. This is a Colorado Springs based role.

*Description*
*The Assistant Project Manager for Commercial Construction duties include:*

* Assisting one or more Project Managers with project related duties
* Looking after in the preparation of RFP/bid packages and other project compliance
* Participating in and attending staff meetings
* Completing RFIs, submittals, and managing change orders
* Overseeing 3-4 projects at a given time
*Profile*


*The Successful Applicant*


* Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
* 2+ years of experience in Commercial Construction as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager
* Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
* Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.

*Offer for the Assistant Project Manager for Commercial Construction Includes:*


* Competitive base salary based on project experience and skills, usually *$65,000-90,000*
* 401(k) with company match
