BiggsKofford, CPA Firm, is searching for a motivated Accounting Administrative Assistant looking for a full-time, long-term career opportunity.
BiggsKofford, one of the largest boutique CPA firms in Colorado, primarily serves closely held businesses, nonprofits, and healthcare organizations. The Accounting Administrative Assistant at BiggsKofford will work with professional staff, including partners in the firm, to assist with the administration tasks associated with a CPA firm.
BiggsKofford is team-oriented, offering a friendly work environment. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills. The Accounting Administrative Assistant reports directly to the department management, supporting critical work functions of other team members, clients, and partners.

Location
· Work is performed in the Colorado Springs office location
· Expected 40 hours per week from December through April.
· Flexible / Reduced schedule available during the “firm’s off-season” of May through November.
To be a successful candidate, you will have:
- 5+ years administrative experience with increasing responsibilities
- Experience working in a financial or professional services firm
- Excellent Excel, Word, Adobe PDF skills, and Microsoft Outlook Applications
- Ability to multi-task, switching between projects throughout any given day
- Computer literacy with ability to learn multiple software programs
- Verbal and written ability to communicate professionally and effectively
- Self-motivation with attention to deadlines
- Excellent organization and time management skills
Responsibilities:
- Manage deadlines for firm clients
- Assist with the workflow for different departments
- Maintain an organized filing system of electronic documents
- Drafting correspondence
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, faxes, mail and packages. Sort and distribute incoming mail, through the post office as well as overnight couriers.
- Scheduling various meetings, lunch and learns, and department retreats
- Coordinate, order and set up food for departments events and meetings
- Provide support to the front office, including answering calls, greeting clients, and accepting deliveries
- Assist with various projects as assigned, ad-hoc.

- Hours: In office, Monday- Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM
